May & June...the months in pictures

This is going to have to be a part one of two post, because half of my pictures from the past two months were taken on a different camera and it is going to be a process getting those uploaded and onto here.  I will prevail though :)  So, without further adieu, here are the first half of the randomness of May and June in our household:

One of Ethan's favorite games is to run over to me and pour water on my legs and feet...he can run back and forth doing this for hours!

I know this will probably humiliate Ethan one day, but I just couldn't resist getting a picture of a soapy Ethan reading in the tub :)

Another favorite game is getting all of his (yes, he has his own set!) of measuring cups, lining them up on the coffee table, getting several cups of ice and playing some sort of measuring game.  He plays this most mornings these days.

The boys were so cute together  (and yes, Ethan has only one sock on...he lost the other one when he was climbing in and out of Brandon's car seat.  He was also extremely interested in Brandon's Bumbo seat, and it should be noted that he had zero interest in the Bumbo when he was a baby.  I can count on one hand the number of times he actually sat in it when he was this little!)

Funny Story

Here's a quick funny story for you...so the other day our financial planner was over at our house for our annual meeting.  I set Ethan up with an episode of his favorite show, Super Why!, on the Kindle so we could focus on all the business we had to discuss.  About halfway through the meeting Ethan walked the Kindle over to me and it was on some random screen which showed a bunch of different available television shows.  I was able to get it back to his episode and he was fairly content finishing Super Why!  Fast forward to the next morning, and Patrick calls from work to let me know that he checked his bank statement and there was a random $1.99 charge from the day before from Amazon.  I checked the Kindle, and sure enough, Ethan had somehow managed to purchase an episode of some Nickelodeon show named H20.  (Thank goodness it was just one episode and not a whole season that he decided to buy!)  Having never heard of this show, and since we are now the proud owners of an episode from its first season, I turned it on and could not help but laugh.  The show is about three tween girls who can somehow turn into mermaids.  The opening credits shows them running on the beach in their swimsuits.  Patrick's reaction?  "That's my boy!"  Oh dear....

We were trying to wake Ethan up from a nap to head out, and NOTHING was working...so what else is there to do but cover him in stuffed animals and take silly pictures?!

We even enlisted Caddy's help (to no avail)...and no, she cannot jump into his crib on her own!
