Trying to get that shirt tucked in...a losing battle
Finding an Easter egg...he would LOVE this game all day long (in fact, he still enjoys days when I let him play with all the plastic Easter eggs for a bit!)

Could Ethan look any more bored?!
He was so interested in his Easter basket

I love how cute he looks in his tiny little suit

Ethan loved running around with his basket!

He found this egg on his own!

Searching for hidden eggs, with a little help from Grandma

It took Ethan a few minutes to catch on, but he loved searching for eggs!

He has the hang of it now!

Cute Story

So I realize that I am once again WAY behind on this blog, but with my freelance work being as busy as it has been the past month there just doesn't seem to be much free time anymore.  I am either working or being mommy with Ethan (which means I cannot be near the computer unless I want "help" from my little assistant!)  I am going to try to update the stories and pictures within the week from the past month, but in the interim here's a really sweet story...

Anybody familiar with the book Corduroy?  I read to Ethan daily (his current favorites are Press Here and Tumford the Terrible) and tonight Patrick took over most of the reading before bed with Ethan since I am swamped with work projects.  He read Corduroy to Ethan and evidently when they reached the last page, Ethan looked at the picture of the girl cuddling her teddy bear and said "mama."  Patrick said that was cute enough, but then he tried to close the book and Ethan would not let him close the page and said "mommy" again.  Patrick said he had to fold the page back so that Ethan could see the picture of the little bear being cuddled just like I cuddle him before he would settle in and go to sleep.  When Patrick told me that story I almost cried.  I never want to be so busy again that I miss these sweet moments with my boy.  I had to jot this one down though, because it was so sweet and I don't want to miss recording these moments before they are forever lost.  More to come soon...
